A printed case for the M5Stack HDMI add-on

hardware

The Add-on Display In - the HDMI input for M5Stack's Unit PoE-P4 - comes as a bare board, with no case. The Unit PoE-P4 has one, so the pair looked unfinished on the desk.

I drew a case for the add-on that matches the Unit PoE-P4 housing: same width, same corners. The two sit together as one block.

The other end: the add-on's USB-A port above the Unit PoE-P4's Ethernet and USB-C.

HDMI comes out of one end and the USB-A port out of the other, and there are vent slots on top. Ethernet, USB-C and the side ports of the Unit PoE-P4 stay free.

The case on its own, upside down: one part, with four tabs along the edges.

It is one printed part and needs no screws: four tabs along its edges go into the slots of the Unit PoE-P4 housing and hold it there. The tabs are thin, so press it on gently.

The Add-on Display Out has the same outline, so the case should fit it too; I have only tried it with the Display In.

It is the first printed case for an M5Stack board on the hardware list.
